The Story of Ricky to screen in Scranton

The 1991 chop-sockey gore fest cult classic The Story of Riki will be screen this Sunday, January 30 at 3 pm at the Endless Mountain Theatre, Rt 6 in Scranton.

Set in the far future world of 2001, tough guy Ricky is imprisoned in a corporate-run penal facility where brutal violence is the only way to survive. Reportedly so much fake blood was used on the film's finale that star Siu-Wong Fan couldn't wash the red off of his skin for three days.

The film is presented by the folks at Spookydudes, regional promoters presenting classic cult films in the old exploitation/grindhouse theatre tradition that died out in the early 80s as a by-product of the home video revolution.

Admission is $7.00.
