KICKBALL was filmed in NEPA (Dunmore, Scranton, etc) during the summer of 2006, and is an homage to the sports underdog/comedy films of the 1980's with a punk rock flair. Take one part "Porky's", one part "Slapshot", and add a dash of "SLC Punk" and you have "Kickball! The Movie."
The film is written, produced and directed by Blake Monahan and Jeremy Howell. The film is executive produced by Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz, founders of Troma entertainment and creators of "The Toxic Avenger.
