Three CFP films, "Deadroll", "Cubes", and "Who's Famous Now", had the honor of screening at this year’s Pocono Mountain Film Festival. "Deadroll" walked away with top honors by capturing the Best Full Feature award.

All nine films in this summer’s CFP Shorts series were screened at Endless Mountains Theatres in Dickson City on August 20. A DVD containing all nine films sold out at the event. E-mail jeff@communityfilmproject to place an advance order for our next batch. The DVD includes extended cuts of "Barrage", "Higher", and "President Swap". DVDs are $10 each.

Production continues on "Kickball: The Movie". The film is written and directed by Troma Entertainment employees Jeremy Howell and Blake Monahan and is produced by Troma creators Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Hertz.

The second series of Short Films is in development. The first film will begin it’s one-week theatrical run at Endless Mountain Theaters on November 24. There are eight shorts, including "Star World" by Jeff Fowler and Tony DelRegno, "Cue to Exit" by Chris Perriotti, "Lost" also by Chris Perriotti, "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue" by Desiree Wosochlo, "Clara" by Trish Blaine, "Lost and Found" also by Trish Blaine, "Mr. Poopypants" by Bob Sweeney, and "Revolution-American Style" also by Bob Sweeney.
