Community Film Project member, Conor O'Brien is set to open the Vintage Theater at the old Ritz Building, 222 Wyoming Avenue, Scranton

The Vintage Theater will show classic films every weekend as well as host concerts, comedy and other forms of the arts. Alfred Hitchcock’s “The 39 Steps” will be the first film shown at the new theater. Admission to the 3 p.m. film is $3 while it costs $5 for the 7 p.m. showings.

The Vintage Theater grand opening weekend is
Jan. 16 at 7 p.m.
Jan. 17 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Jan. 18 at 3 p.m.
