"Matter of Honor" seeking EXTRAS
During the past month, production representatives from the feature film "Matter of Honor" were scouting locations in Scranton in cooperation with Paige Balitski from The Scranton Film Office.
"Matter of Honor" is an Italian themed crime drama/suspense, celebrating Love, Honor and Respect. Michael Silvano, 30, is faced with the shocking news that his father, who died 15 years earlier, has just been named as the person who murdered the famous and beloved Monsignor Bellcaro in Scranton PA 25 years ago.
Faced with this incredulous news, Michael sets out to get to the bottom of what really happened there 25 years ago when he was just a three year old child, and to clear his father’s good name. Michael’s driving force is his unshakable belief and love for his father. Who Michael meets and who comes into his life while in Scranton, i.e. Dolly Parton type used car salesman, wisdom toting American Indian gypsy cab driver, and a South African new age heart surgeon, as well as what really happened there, leads us to an ending we don’t see coming. Everything is tied to the rare hand gun, The Luchessta 38!
The Production has been approved for the Creativity in Focus Film Production Tax Credit by Department of Community and Economic Development. Rumored to be attached to the film are Harvey Keitel, Kathy Griffin, John Michael Bolger, Gordon Tootoosis, and Doris Roberts. The film was written and will be directed by Louis F. Hemsey.
Casting is being completed by Toni Cusumano Casting. Residents that are interested in being unpaid extras can email their photos and resumes to tonicusumanocasting@gmail.com
The film is scheduled to begin March/April 2008.
