"Canvas" to screen Sunday
Soprano's star and Emmy award-winning actor and film maker Joseph Pantoliano will be visiting Marywood University 's campus on Sunday, October 7, to prescreen and discuss his latest film, Canvas.
Canvas stars Marcia Gay Harden (winner, Academy Award, Pollock ) and Joseph Pantoliano (winner, Emmy Award, The Sopranos ), as well as introducing the young actor Devon Gearhart. The film, which was written and directed by Joseph Greco, is based on the true story of one family's struggle with mental illness.
Canvas will be shown in the Multi Purpose Room, located in the Nazareth Student Center , at 6 p.m., followed by a question and answer presentation hosted by Mr. Pantoliano. Community Agencies centered on mental wellness will also be represented with materials and information.
