Astronomica Films is pleased to announce the big screen premiere of “Mountaintop Road” (formerly "Hatchet Man") at Endless Mountains Theatre in Dickson City on Saturday, August 25th, 2007. The show starts at 11:30pm, with a sneak peak at "Scarecrow Man" and several other short films. The feature film begins at MIDNIGHT, the witching hour, the best time to see a horror film.

The film, directed by Matthew McLaughlin, deals with a group of young people who have been thrown together for a weekend therapy session at a cabin in the woods. All 4 patients have something in common, but what? Throw in a creepy psychotherapist with a penchant for panties, a notorious serial killer and an over the top forest ranger and you have an evening of good, old fashion humor and gross out horror in the vain of the 1970’s Grindhouse feature films.

The cast includes a host of local theatre people that include K.K. Gordon, Joe Palumbo, Dawn Winarski, Tom Tomeo and Sam Falbo.
