CFP actor wins award

This past weekend prolific CFP actor Jack Evans performed in a one hour excerpt from Gaslight Theatre's recent production of A Moon for the Misbegotten at the Pennsylvania Association of Community Theatres' annual competition (PACT-Fest). Nine theatres from across the state spent the weekend in Ridley Park, PA performing scenes before a panel of independent judges.

Evans' performance earned him an award for Outstanding Acting Achievement (the 2-character scene also garnered an Outstanding Acting Achievement award for Evan's costar,
the David Matthews Award for Excellence in Direction for director Sean McKeown, and the festival's top award for Oustanding Production). The production's honors have earned it the distinction of moving forward into the Eastern States Theatre Association’s Regional Festival to be held later this month in Geneva, NY.

Evans appears in four of the ten films in the upcoming CFP Shorts series, and has appeared in many local films, including the CFP projects Cubes and Bad Time.
