CFP member Brian Berkenstock has been a busy scriptwriter and has two short film scripts in search of producers and directors. They are-

From Here to Paternity -- Carmella, Tony and 5-year-old Belle visit an open-air market. Carmella appears quite nervous. She sends Tony off to shop. When he's out of sight, Carmella grabs Belle drags her through the market, whizzing by vendors. Tony finishes his chores and rushes to catch up to the girls. He's shocked by what he finds.

This 4-page script tells its story without dialogue, and includes a visually revealed twist at the end.

Playing Safe -- Jimmy Valentine, a depression-era safe cracker, is released from prison. His captor, Ben Price, keeps a close eye on Jimmy. Jimmy slips away and tries to go straight in a small town. Jimmy meets a woman named Annabelle and plans to marry. Annabelle's father, the local banker, brags about his impenetrable new vault. Ben Price discovers Jimmy's location and new life. At the grand opening of the bank, one of Annabelle's nieces becomes trapped in the grand vault. Ben Price witnesses the chaos. To save the child, Jimmy must reveal his true self to Anabell.

This 30-page script is an adaptation of an O.Henry short story (in the public domain). Although it's a period piece, there is a small cast, so it could possibly be produced for a reasonable budget.
