CFP Screening Room, September 17th
Following on the success of our first short film screening on July 2, 2005, the Community Film Project will once again showcase independent regional films on Saturday, September 17 at the AFA Gallery (514 Lackawanna Avenue in Scranton). This event is a great opportunity for movie lovers to meet members of the regional filmmaking community, and to sample their work.
Films on the schedule include a National Film Challenge award-winning short “The Bazooka Incident Anomaly”, several shorts by student filmmaker and Iraq War documentarian Jeremy Zerechak, shorts produced by various CFP Members, trailers of upcoming regional independent films, and “The Magic Nut and the Night of 1000 Ninjas”
This event is open to the public. Refreshments and snacks will be provided. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Admission is free, but a $3 donation is suggested.
